OK so its been a while since i have written a post. well that's because i have been extremely busy this past week. also to make things worse my camera has died and can not get batteries. the batteries that the camera takes are a special kind and i can not find them anywhere. but that's not what i want to talk about. so this past week alot has happened. first i went to a zoo with one of my teachers. and it was great. Thai zoo is different then American zoo. i got to feed a baby white tiger and hold an urangutang. both sat on my lap. holding a tiger was one of the coolest thing i have done here. sadly my camera was dead so i have to get the photos from my teachers camera. but i do have photos. just not with me. the next thing that happened is that i was on t.v. at the flower festival. i was in the parade holding my schools banner. and i got to say it was HOT!!!!! i had to where a Thai wedding suit which is cools to look at but not fun to wear in 90 degree weather. every one wanted to take a picture with the American wearing a Thai suit. it was like i was the biggest celebrity of the country. every 2 steps someone would come up and ask for a picture with me. kids, girls, boys, adults, elders, you name it and i have taken pictures with all of them.(i do have a picture of the parade but my teacher has the rest). i kind of make the other people behind our school mad though. i guess i would be mad to if i was walking for 4 and a half hours and the foreigner is stopping for people to take pictures with everyone. its really different here. people in America spend all there time trying to be tan. and in Thailand everyone wants to be white and have blue eyes. so they kind of look at me as a vary important person and everyone loves my eyes. so yeah everything here is fine. oh wait i did have a few problem adjusting to the culture. in America if you have a friend it is OK to hug or touch there arm and things like that. in Thailand it is NOT OK to touch a girl unless you are going to be her girlfriend or in some cases marry her. so i had a problem with the teachers. they told me that it is not OK. so i stopped. but the youth and the adults are going to change in the next few years. what i have noticed is that the teens here are OK with touching the opposite sex. while the adults are not OK with it. so i was talking to my sister and she said that the teens are the new generation and they have started to adopted the western culture. so when i would give hugs or touch a girl they were OK with it. but there are some students that still do not like it. so i still do not do it.

i have gotten alot of comments about why i do not have pictures of my school yet. well that's because i have never really thought about that. so when ever i can get a camera i will take pictures of my school and tell everyone about it. well that's all i have for now, so i will get the pictures from my teacher and post them some time this week.
